“It’s saving us lots of time, giving us really good data, and the setup is really easy to use.”

We are beginning to complete our first mastery process in my data team and wanted to let you guys know we absolutely love it. It’s saving us lots of time, giving us really good data, and the setup is really easy to use. The rest of our department is envious of us right now and want to begin using it for their data teams as well.

“… really impressed with how easy it was to collect data and collaborate with other teachers.”

I echo what Matt has said about the data team process using All In’s Mastery Learning process. We have really enjoyed it so far. I showed the Mastery Process to one of our AP’s on Wednesday and he was really impressed with how easy it was to collect data and collaborate with other teachers.

“The All In Learning response system has been a hit with the PLC this year… the data seemed to compile itself.”

The All In Learning response system has been a hit with the PLC this year.
We started taking data at the beginning of the school year by giving paper and pencil (or scantron) pretests. We collected many pieces of data this way throughout each unit. As a group, we discussed our data. It was very time consuming and frustrating.
Once we started using the clickers, the data seemed to compile itself. We were able to compare classes and discuss strengths and weaknesses with data and graphs from the cloud. The same information the administration requested was now truly at our fingertips. Other PLCs were now jealous of our data collection system and hope to see this product/program used throughout the school.

Our students enjoy the instant feedback the clicker system provides. They like to compete with other classes and they started setting goals for themselves without teacher prompting. Upon entering the classroom, students ask if we are going to use clickers and when the answer is no they get upset. We often use them for quick grading of pretests, tickets out, and reviews. Student performance increases and frustration lessens for the teachers.

“I literally use the AIL clickers in class every day to gather content mastery data.”

All in Learning has been an absolute god-send in my classroom. My students and I find that we have more time to spend discussing content and incorporating their spontaneous questions. I literally use the AIL clickers in class every day to gather content mastery data.

“The clickers have transformed the way we do exit tickets in my classroom.”

I just wanted to shoot you a quick email to tell you that I am SO impressed with the All in Learning technology – I just gave my first quiz using the bubble sheets and the Doc Cam, and the clickers have transformed the way we do exit tickets in my classroom. I just wanted to let you know how excited I am to be working with All In Learning and how much I appreciate your help!

“This has saved me hours of grading because now it takes less than 5 minutes for an entire day’s classwork.”

My first semester of teaching was a whirlwind blur of planning, grading, teaching and the amount of work never seemed to end. My first semester I felt I didn’t have enough time to incorporate it into my classroom. When I began my second semester of teaching I found that All in Learning was so easy to implement. I use All in Learning at least one or twice a week and the amount of time and energy it has saved me has truly paid off. I use the clickers to gauge my students on whether or not they have mastered the Learning Objective that very day. I can instantly see the amount of people who got the question right and wrong. Using this data I know whether to move onto the next question or reteach it right away. In my first semester without AIL, I didn’t know I had to remediate until days later. The best part is once you are finished with class, you can take each student’s grade and import straight into Gradespeed as a classwork grade for that day. This has saved me hours of grading because now it takes less than 5 minutes for an entire day’s classwork. I love AIL and would encourage all teachers to have it in their classroom. Not only do I love it, but so do my students. They are always so excited when I say “get your clickers today.” Each student actually wants to complete every single problem so they get to click in the answer. It is amazing how AIL has increased the student investment in my classroom. The difference it has made is truly phenomenal and now looking back I wish I would have used it my first semester because it would have saved me many hours of lost sleep.

“… our students exceeded the district performance.”

We used All In Learning extensively during the last 6 weeks period. We recently took a District Common Assessment and our students exceeded the district performance. I found that using the program allowed me to quickly identify and remediate gaps in knowledge. I spoke to other members of my PLC and they felt the same way, that All in Learning helped improve overall academic achievement.

“There is no way I could be as effective of a teacher without All in Learning!”

As a classroom teacher, I was actively searching for a piece of technology that would provide instant feedback for my students … ALL In Learning did just that. The trainers and technology support team are amazing and are there for you and your staff. There is no way I could be as effective of a teacher without All in Learning!

“It’s an eye opener when you just ‘know’ everybody has mastered a basic concept, and then you find that only 42% actually understood with a quick On-the-Fly!”

They have been working great as a method to quickly identify who, “gets it,” and who doesn’t. It’s an eye opener when you just ‘know’ everybody has mastered a basic concept, and then you find that only 42% actually understood with a quick On-the-Fly! Today, I was able to address a math misconception immediately and literally heard the, “Oh, now I get its” throughout the classroom! =) And the kids love them!

“The data was clear and easy to read..”

The product tutorials were great and the webinar was extremely helpful. The overall product is very user friendly and easy to work with. My students very much enjoyed working with the remotes and it kept them on task and alert. It made it very easy for me to see the things that were lacking overall and individually. The data was clear and easy to read. Grading has never been more efficient, either. I am very satisfied with the product and think that it could really help classrooms everywhere.

“This will cut down on a lot of grading time. You’re definitely on the money!!!”

I just used the Engage and Learn app to test out the functionality…. You have just made my Fridays easier!! We do weekly spelling and high frequency words tests. Now, all I need to do is create the assessment, and deliver it through the iPads. This will cut down on a lot of grading time. You’re definitely on the money!!!

“… so easy to use that I used them today … right after being trained … without even having to create anything additional.”

In my humble opinion …the new clickers are worth investing in!!! So user-friendly! Minimum software to install — all from the cloud…. so easy to use that I used them today … right after being trained … without even having to create anything additional. The kids loved them. Also, they have the test “scantron equivalent” use that I am looking forward to using. I just finished making a super awesome ppt review for bio tomorrow and I am going to make a review for anatomy to use also tomorrow. In the words of the children’s book, “Mother, may I keep them?”

“I can aggregate the data and see how all my students are doing on any standard …”

I use my all in learning software for my formative assessments. I do a constant review of the standards we have covered as a warm up every day. Each week I quiz on the standards I focused on and grade that with all in learning. I have used the iPad to allow the students to grade and see any question numbers they missed for instant feedback. Since I enter these quizzes with the standards attached in all in learning I can aggregate the data and see how all my students are doing on any standard or a percentage for how a student is doing on any particular standard.

“What you guys at ALL In Learning are doing for us is incredible.”

I am really excited about what we can do with this software. Technology is best applied in the classroom when it becomes a seamless process to use. A year and half into all in learning it is becoming a seamless application for general assessments and as we get more familiar with the mastery process, it too will increase in value as it becomes “seamless”. As teachers become more familiar with the program, we are becoming more efficient at using the data to our instructional advantage. What you guys at all in learning are doing for us is incredible because you are working so hard to make assessments easy to develop, administer and generate results. I know that you have already done all of the academic research on this software, but from a classroom teacher’s perspective, technology works the best when it is not an add-on in the classroom. That is what my “research” has discovered and that is what I like about all-in and the clicker system will enhance these opportunities even further. If we can ever help promote your products, just let us know. Your company has been generous to us, so I (we) are certainly willing to give back when we can.

“We can quickly and easily analyze data and make changes to our instruction… we spend time where they need help not on topics they already understand.”

I LOVE using All In Learning with my classes! Students love it because they have instant feedback. I embed quiz type questions in their notes and they can check their understanding as they are going through the information.
I LOVE All In Learning for use with my PLC. We can quickly and easily analyze data and make changes to our instruction. I also use it as a personal analysis between my class periods and we spend time where they need help not on topics they already understand. All In Learning has saved me time, paper, and energy on grading that I can now devote to other instructional tasks in the classroom.

“I know then that even if they can’t always tell me, they know what we are learning!”

My students love using it (All –In Learning) and I have seen some amazing things happen in my classroom. I have a special needs student and to see them cheer along with the rest of the class when they see that they got the answer right when using it “on the fly” just melts my heart. I know then that even if they can’t always tell me, they know what we are learning! Brain Pop and Study Jams quizzes are now more than just bell ringers.

“… creates the data tables automatically so data teams can spend their time discussing and analyzing the data.”

From my experiences, there are 3 main problems with data teams in most schools all of which ALL In has a solution for. These problems prevent teachers from using data to inform their instruction and ultimately improve teaching and learning.

PROBLEM 1: Teachers (usually one teacher in the data team) spend much of their time crunching data rather than analyzing data.
ALL In SOLUTION: Mastery Process creates the data tables automatically so data teams can spend their time discussing and analyzing the data.

PROBLEM 2: Teachers do not know how to analyze data OR do not understand what to do in their data team.

ALL In SOLUTION: Mastery Process provides a template that guides the data team through a step-by-step process of analyzing the data and using it to inform their instruction.

PROBLEM 3: Administrators require minutes or other form of documentation of data team meetings; however, they are often lengthy and in varied formats. This requires much time for the administrator to review to find evidence of student learning/mastery and as a result may not be reviewed.

ALL In SOLUTION: Mastery Process alerts send a summary email to the administrator when a data team finishes analyzing a unit of study. Email is brief, contains summary charts, and is uniform across all data teams. An administrator can review these quickly and dig deeper into the attached pdf if necessary.
I have so many teachers excited about Mastery Process.
